The most important project for the K2 children in Creative O is the annual camping at St John’s Island for 2 nights and 3 days. It is a memorable journey for the children, parents and teachers. It was started in the year 2000. Children are engaged in a three-month process working on the menu, packing list, time table, duty-roster, activities, safety and environment awareness and even some of the “dos & don’ts” for the camping. The camping experience of our children is so unique that it has drawn much attention from media and it has been figured by the Straits Times, Lianhe Zaobao and Media Corp in a documentary entitled Our Children.
